Designed for Ireland's 2026 Presidency of the Council of the European Union, as an official gift of the Irish Government. Now available as part of the TED 1942 collection.
THE STORY
For six months in 2026, Ireland holds the Presidency of the Council of the European Union. To mark the moment, TED 1942 designed a bespoke presentation folio as an official gift of the Irish Government: a piece of Ireland to be placed in the hands of guests from across Europe.
We took our cue from the traditional leather document cases historically used in Ireland, objects made to carry what matters and to last. It is cut from full grain vegetable-tanned leather in our Heritage Green, a leather that deepens and softens with every year of use. The orange elastic closure is a quiet nod to the tricolour.
The edition now available to you is the same design, finished with the TED 1942 logo.
