The Door Collection

Over the past 12 months, we have taken a new approach in design to create a collection of luxury bags and accessories for women. A collection that reflects the uncompromising standards of quality, functionality and innovation that our men’s items are loved for, by many customers. Today, we are thrilled to introduce you to The Door Bag Collection, our very first women’s range of bags and accessories. Our aim is to generate feeling through creation.

The Door Collection pays homage to a very famous door in Dublin, No. 7 Eccles Street, where James Joyce centred his novel Ulysses around the central character Leopold Bloom.

Our co-founder Brendan noticed the door whilst driving down Eccles Street on a rainy evening and reflected on how each door tells its own unique story. He was inspired to create a collection that can connect women with their personal story and inspire them to think about their past.

The Door Collection pivots around three F’s: Features that Function to give Feelings. 

The Feature (the Door closure) Function (open and close the bag) to give Feelings (the warmth and security behind the door, the nostalgia of the memory of a special door from the owner’s childhood house or another special place).

Our new range of accessories includes a coin & card holder, a tote, and a cross-body bag, which can be personalised with a choice of colour for the door closure. Each style is manufactured using the finest Italian leather, suede lining and solid brass hardware. Designed to be highly functional to meet women’s needs for practicality  every day use without compromising the luxurious style and craftsmanship.
